Dave brings his unique background as a coach, administrator and professor to Anacapa Consulting Group after a remarkable career at Williams College, where his tennis teams won three NCAA Division III National Championships and his squash teams consistently ranked in the top ten nationally of all colleges and universities in the nation.
We look forward to taking advantage of the totality Dave’s unique Williams skillset where, in addition to his coaching experience, he was an Assistant Professor of Art History and a beloved mentor of for generations of Williams undergrads as the Associate Dean of the College and Dean of First Year Students.
His long career at Williams, across three diverse student populations, intersecting with academic and athletic faculty across the breadth of the Williams community made him an indispensable member of innumerable search committees and several major departmental review initiatives. And, not to be overlooked in terms of our work at Anacapa is his role as a trusted career counselor for many students interested in careers following pathways to academic PhD’s or teaching/coaching careers in secondary or higher education.
Beyond the resume, if you ask anyone who attended, worked, or coached at Williams over the last twenty years they would not only know “Dean Dave” but have a personal story that paints a picture of his innate curiosity, ability to listen, and fully care for those he has the opportunity to meet. Those traits are undoubtedly his superpower and will be an incredible asset to our work at Anacapa.
Dave comes on board with his wife, Michelyne Pinard, who is our newly appointed Executive Director of Academy Camps, and their three girls—Elle, Maeve, and Drew—and looks forward to the leading our WYNin6 Executive Searches for many years to come.
